Preaching Christ During Evil Times

If the main emphasis of your preaching and teaching is about the vaccine, the mark of the beast, the antiChrist, or the tribulation— you’ve missed the mark. You will not find an extensive teaching anywhere in the Bible about any of those things. They are fleeting mentions, at best, and are not to be the thrust of teaching from the pulpit. A message that majors on the dangers and woes of this present evil world, is a message that directs the attention of men onto the storm instead of onto Christ. When Peter took his eyes off of Jesus, and onto the storm, he began to sink (Matt 14:30). God forbid that we should preach a sinking message!

We preach Christ! Who He is! What He has done, is doing, and will do! We are acquainting the church with a Person, not with a predicament! We present our brethren with the purpose of God, not the purpose of satan. The more we focus on the things above, instead of the things of the earth the more the people will be equipped to handle the things currently coming upon the earth.
