What we call the “Holy Land” is being inhabited by Judahites who forged an alliance with Edomites since 126BC and they formed the Israeli State in 1948. Judahites do not hold the birthright of Joseph which belongs to the tribe of Joseph who had the legal right to form the Israeli State in 1948 which of course they never did. Judahites can only be restored as per the law of tribulation if they repent of their hostility towards Jesus Christ which of course they never did until now (Leviticus 26:40-42).
Yes we can pray for the restoration of the nation of Israel but we aren’t going back to Judaism nor are we going back to temple worship, ceremonies rituals and animal sacrifices. God permitted the mighty Roman empire and its soldiers to utterly destroy Jerusalem and its huge, spectacular temple in 70AD. The temple was completely reduced to rubbles and ashes. That was to teach the Israelites a lesson for their hostility towards Jesus Christ.
According to biblical prophesy, we are aware that God is going to restore all nations in the future (Psalms 67:2, Acts 3:21, Isaiah 2:2-4). For that to happen, His divine judgement, which are restorative in nature not punitive, will come upon the nations to shift the tares from the wheat (Matthew 13:24-30) so that the righteous can shine forth in the Kingdom of their Father. If the divine judgement means physical death for some, then that is also good as on the other side of death is life. There is an age or epoch after the Millennium Age where God will refine sinners so ultimately death, sin and evil will be completely eradicated in humans as if it never existed in the first place as per the law of Jubilee (Leviticus 25, Revelation 20:14-15). Then God Himself will be “All in All”.
